Dear Valued Client,
In line with the regulations for participating in the Foreign Exchange Auction, we advise below information that must be included in your Bid application:
- Indicate the Bid Exchange Rate.
- State the USD amount that you are bidding for.
- Select the auction group you are participating in, guided by the amounts below:
– SME Foreign Exchange Auction for amounts between USD$2,500 and USD$20,000.
– Main Foreign Exchange Auction for amounts between USD$50,000 and USD$500,000. - Fund your NMB Bank Account with sufficient ZWL to cover the bid amount.
- Obtain the following supporting documents:
– Valid Invoice, issued within the last 30 days, showing delivery period, stating consignor and consignee details.
– Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
– Valid licences, where applicable. - Submit relevant ZIMRA stamped Bills of Entries (BOEs) and invoices for Credit Payments.
- Clearly describe the Goods and or Services to be paid for, specifying quantities where applicable.
- Clearly classify your Economic Sector; for example, Mining, Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution, Agriculture and Services.
- Check with the Bank if there are any outstanding acquittals (CEBAS and or CEPECS), prior to submission of your bid application.
- For individuals, submit relevant identity documents i.e. Passport Copy, National ID Copy or Driver’s Licence Copy. Attach relevant invoices e.g. Tuition Fees, Medical Invoices etc.
