NMB Bank Limited on Thursday 15 December 2022 handed over several donations to Dzikwa Trust in Collaboration with Friends of Dzikwa Society in Dzivarasekwa, Harare, and held a Christmas lunch for the orphans and vulnerable kids in Dzivarasekwa.
Friends of Dzikwa Society (FODS) is a sister organization to Dzikwa Trust Fund and is responsible for fundraising for Dzikwa Trust activities. The Trust Fund supports gifted orphans and vulnerable children in Dzivarasekwa whose main focus is helping gifted orphans and other vulnerable children in Dzivarasekwa to finish basic education from junior up to Ordinary, Advanced Level, and Tertiary Education. Friends of Dzikwa also fundraises for the community in Dzivarasekwa with their kitchen serving up to 650 people on average per day. This includes the community kids too.

“In addition to today’s donation and Christmas lunch I am excited to share that we will also be offering Friends of Dzikwa, our Skills for Success Program, where in an effort to bridge the soft skills gap and better prepare the future workforce for the country we partner local High schools and institutions dealing with the betterment of children and youth to offer relevant career guidance” added Pamela.
