Mr Nhau commenced his banking career with Metropolitan Bank in 2001. He joined Kingdom Bank in November 2002 where he was instrumental in introducing electronic banking in 2004. At Kingdom Bank he held the following positions, POS – Merchant Services Manager (2008) where he led the bank to be the number one POS acquirer on Zimswitch by 2010, he was appointed to the position of Virtual Banking Manager in 2010 (Second in Charge) driving the first mass banking and Agency Banking in Zimbabwe through Kingdom CellCard. He joined Telecel Zimbabwe in August 2013 as the Sales & Distribution Manager for Mobile Financial Services (Telecash) where he was instrumental in setting up the Agent network and the Telecash subscriber base. In 2016 he joined National Building Society (NBS) as the Alternative Channels Manager where he led the bank in setting up its digital banking channels.

Mr. Nhau joined NMB Bank in 2018 as Head - Digital Banking where he has been instrumental in the digital transformation journey for the Bank. Mr Nhau was nominated to be a speaker on digital financial services at the fifth Annual Responsible Finance Forum (2014) hosted by the World Bank in Perth, Australia (representing Southern Africa). Mr Nhau got an award as the Promising Young Executive of the year (Megafest –Amplified 2020).

He has held the position of Chairperson for the Banker’s Association of Zimbabwe (BAZ) EPAZ (Electronic Payments Association of Zimbabwe) Committee, 2020. He has received various trainings in banking and digital financial services which includes the Core Agent Network Accelerator facilitated by Helix Institute of Digital Finance in Kenya supported by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, UNCDF, IFC & Microsave.
