“Artificial Intelligence is not meant to replace us. It is designed to enhance us.”
That was the core message at the recent Women in Tech session, held under the theme: Demystifying AI and the Emerging Opportunities.
The session aimed to simplify what AI truly is, cutting through the complexity, confronting persistent misconceptions, and closing the knowledge gaps that continue to surround this rapidly evolving field. We explored how AI can be leveraged as a powerful enabler to improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and unlock new opportunities across entrepreneurship, agriculture, financial inclusion, and corporate strategy. At the same time, we addressed the real risks: data bias, privacy concerns, and the threat of digital exclusion. These require thoughtful governance, inclusive design, and ethical deployment.
One thing is certain: We are no longer preparing for the future; we are managing it in real time.
As leaders, innovators, and change agents, it is our responsibility not just to adapt to this transformation, but to shape it, ensuring that A.I actively work for us, not around us. Let us not be passive observers in this era of intelligent technology.
Let us lead it, shape it, and benefit from it, intentionally.
